SAG Winners and Losers

I'm talking about fashion- not the actual roles. And frankly, there were a lot more losers than winners this year, in my book. So let's start with the not so fabulous.

Jenna- you just need a stylist. Or a better stylist. You are so cute. This dress is so not.

And from the look on Maya's face- she realized this dress was not going to land her on the best dressed list- but just a little too late.

I like Emily Blunt. Almost as much as I like her husband, John Krasinski. I don't like this color on her- but that is pardonable- compared to her hair. Remember the butt cut? This is basically a butt cut, grown out.

Ellie Kemper is super cute and super thin. This dress does not share that side of her at all, to put it nicely. And her makeup had to be courtesy of Wet n Wild.

Okay- there are about four more I could post under losers...but I'm sick of being snarky. So here are my favorites.

I'm not team Stacy. I feel like George is way beyond her- but this look- this look makes me think someone is giving her a makeover in case she and George DO end up staying together longer than the 15 minutes everyone originally gave her. Fab. u. lous.

Dianna was stunning Sunday. Her hair, her makeup, her dress. I wish I could find a better picture that did it justice, but she was in my top two, nonetheless.

Etsy Finds

Just a few things I think are adorable. As you can see, I'm sort of in a black-and-white-plush-a-punch-of-color-phase.

Claire Danes, the Keanu Reeves of Actresses

I love this look, even though I can't stand her acting on Homeland, even though we keep watching week after week. Just saying...

Like Crazy, A Review

So Courtney and I went to see "Like Crazy" a few weeks ago. I'd been dying to see it since I saw the trailer when we went to see "The Help". That's a long time. The music was beautiful (I love Ingrid Michaelson), the actors were fresh and beautiful and relatable-looking, and the trailer was just so moving that I KNEW, I just knew I would cry over this beautiful Sundance-winning film.

And it was good. It certainly was. And it was beautifully shot- it actually made me feel like a lot of the movies that are out there are just total crap because they're so simple or so overwrought (I know- seems like an oxymoron). And man, it was real. This movie, the dialog, the interactions were REAL. It was certainly worth seeing in theater. And I now wish I was British...

Had I gone in without expectations, I probably would give the film an A. Instead, I give it a B. BUT I give the trailer an A+. Watch it here.

Hair Color Part II

So I asked him to make it a shade darker. He was totally into it, or so it seemed. However, it's certainly the same color, if not a shade lighter. To be fair, he did a nice job, had that been my request. HA. Just hair, right?

Hair Color

Jennifer Aniston has great hair color. Great hair in general, really. So very often I'll refer to her color or cut when I go in to have my hair done. I'm having my hair done this weekend, so I'm going to use a few of these pics for direction.

Right now, I think this is a good representation of my hair color.

But for fall, I'd like to move more in this direction:

Maybe even a little of this LC action:
